These terms apply to defaultrank.com, its reports, the free check and snapshots (the “Site”), operated by DefaultRank, a sole proprietorship based in Japan. Paid audits are governed by the terms agreed for each order.
What the results are
DefaultRank measures how AI models respond to a fixed set of prompts at a point in time. Results describe those model versions and prompts on the dates stated. Models change, and coding agents with their own instructions may behave differently. Results are statistical estimates, not a judgment of any tool's quality, and are provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.
Independence
DefaultRank is not affiliated with any tool vendor or model provider. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the tools measured.
Using our content
You may quote and share figures from public reports with attribution to “DefaultRank” and a link to the source page. Private snapshot links are meant for the recipient; please don't republish them in full.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Site: no automated bulk submissions, attempts to disrupt the service, or submitting someone else's email address without their permission.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, DefaultRank is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Site or its results.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
